Basic Keyboard Short-cut Keys

Some basic keyboard short-cut keys which almost work with every standard pc or laptops (Microsoft Windows), the below basic short-cut keys are a listing of short-cut keys. These short-cut keys are used to save your time and improve your work efficiency, it is strongly recommended that all of you write down the below short-cut keys on some safe place or try to memorize the below keys, this will affectedly boost your speed of work. You can apply these short-cut keys for almost Microsoft Windows every version.

Control (Ctrl):
A Control (Ctrl) key is used for entering various keyboard short-cuts such as Ctrl+A for selecting all files/folders or text or Ctrl+C for Pasting a Word, phrase, files or documents.

Alternate/Alternative (Alt):
An Alt key that is likewise called as Alternate or Alternative key used with the numeric keypad for entering “Symbols,” which shows special characters; this key is also used with the Control key for entering keyboard short-cuts and separately like Alt + F4 to close the current Window or program.

Shift:
Used for entering different type of symbols, capitalize letters and text selection

Function (Fn):
Function key is typically found on various type of laptop keyboards, this function key is used to enable/disable special functions such as brightness control, volume control, WiFi/Bluetooth enable disable and so on…

Option Key:
An Option key found on almost every keyboard which is usually used to know property of specific file or folder.
