Why HTC Desire HD Wouldn’t Get Official Update of Android I.C.S?

by onOctober 10, 2013

A Taiwanese Company who deals in HTC phones has published the announcement in its blog that HTC Desire HD Wouldn’t Get Official Update. The latest news regarding an official update of “Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich” on highly esteemed mobile phone HTC Desire HD would not receive. The issue for not receiving official update on these smartphones have many factors but the main issue was the risk of losing user data during update.

Obviously, Android Ice Cream Sandwich requires a large size of internal storage space than the previous Gingerbread, HTC decided to reduce the overall package size of firmware but then came to the conclusion that this changing can lead the phone towards instability, so in the end, they decided to leave HTC Desire HD in its original state.

Isn’t it looks like a lame excuse for HTC Desire HD users?
