How to move apps to SD?

There are many apps available in Playstore market which perform the same task, these applications can move custom installed apps to SD Card/external memory. But according to my opinion these apps are useless because of these reasons.

  1. Android phones already have capability to perform this task, so you do not need to install any extra application.
  2. If you already running out of memory, so that each MB is worth important for your phone, therefore; I again suggest you not to install such application and save your phone’s internal memory.

“Let’s begin the practice”

Requirements:

  1. A data cable
  2. A PC with Windows/Linux Operating system
  3. SDK (Software Development Kit) Tools (Download)
  4. Drivers for your Android phone (Download)

If above drivers do not work then download device drivers as per your device manufactures from official website.

“How to Move Apps to SD Card without Root” is the name of this tutorial, yet by the third section you state “To perform this trick first of all you need to root your device.” I mean, the “without Root” part is quite misleading, and defeats the purpose. Informative guide and in-depth guide, however, just a bad title.

Make sure you sd card is working properly and have enough memory to transfer data from internal memory to external, secondly you need to format your sd card in fat32 file system. you can only shift downloaded applications but can not move pre-installed apps without root permission.

Hope that I answer that question
