by onApril 21, 2015

Whatsapp has officially introduced WhatsApp Material Design with latest build version 2.12.38 for Android devices. Whatsapp seems to rapidly improve its services to provide better changes. Recently, Whatsapp has introduced free voice calling feature for both Android and Windows phones and then made it to be accessed through a computer, and finally it has a new design. The Material Design brings up bold, colourful UI throughout the app along with new animations, emotions, icons and more.

TheNextWeb stated that the app maker is still working at rolling out the visual updates as a few design changes and animations differ from user to user. When you’ll start group chats, users will find out a cleaner layout and a larger cover image. They will also find some cosmetic changes made to the media selection screen.

The requirements to get started with the new version is an Android smartphone running version 2.1 or above, and of course your internet connection. The newly build WhatsApp Material Design version is not currently available on Google Play Store. However, you can download it via company’s website. But we would recommend you to wait for the official announcement of this launch.

The colour scheme change, the group chat layout change and the integration of simpler layout features are just a few of the things users are noticing as they update their app. WhatsApp is going forward in the right direction, it is still unclear that how much change is going to be packed into this new update. It will be declare when it finally goes live on the Google Play Store.

The users who are looking to get more out of their WhatsApp messenger, they will have to download this update really to see all the benefits that are packed inside. Hopefully, the company will roll out WhatsApp Material Design to public very soon.
