Facebook Launches Messenger For Web Browsers

This is a good news for those who like using Facebook’s messaging feature on their laptop or computer and do not want to be distracted by the News Feed. Facebook has launched today its communication service app messenger for web browsers. Now, the Facebook users can simply go to Messenger.com, log in, and chat with your friends without any need to exist Facebook.com so that you can concentrate on conversations. All of your messages will already there and you can access your old conversations and start the new one.

There are few features that are not available on the web browser version of Messenger, but other basic features are still there. You can access all the basic features that are available in Messenger app. Likewise, you can easily make voice and video calls to your friends from the Web version.

There is also a gear icon to adjust the settings and to log out from the platform at the top left side corner. It also enables you to turn on desktop notification from the settings. There are more than 600 million users using the Messenger app. Last month, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberge announced the Messenger platform, that will allow the developers to build apps for Messenger.

Now, you must be thinking about the big question that when the desktop version of Messenger will be available to us. There is no exact confirmation about when it will be available, but we are expecting the desktop Messenger app in coming months.
