By expanding its Desire range of smartphones, HTC has launched Desire 526G+, its first mid-range smartphone with a dual-SIM configuration. This 526G+ dual-SIM smartphone is a latest device in a company’s mid-range Desire series of smartphones. It is available with 8GB and 16GB variants, priced at RS. 10,400 for 8GB while RS 11,400 for 16 GB variant respectively.
HTC is well-known for its metal body designs, but since the Desire 526G+ is targeted at the mid-range smartphone, HTC had to use plastic in the construction. The HTC Desire 526G+ comes in four beautiful combinations – glacier blue, laquer black, stealth black and fervor read. There is a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port on the bottom edge. It has a removable battery. The Desire 526+ weighs around 154 grams and is 9.8mm thick.
The Desire 526G+ is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The both variants of the device are expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has come with a 4.7 inch qHD display along with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution. The connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with the SenseUl 5.0 skin atop it. On the front camera, you’ll get 8 megapixel rear camera which is capable of shooting full HD videos and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera which can also shoot HD videos. HTC Desire 526G+ has a 2,000 mAh battery that is a best battery capacity for qHD display. However, there is not battery saver mode on the 526G+.
