Instagram Launches Its Own Photo Collage App Called Layout

Instagram has launched a new photo collage app today on 23 March 2015 for iOS users called Layout – the company’s first and very own photo collage application. By using Layout, users can easily create collages using photos from their mobile photos and then they can share them it on Instagram, Facebook, and other social networking websites. But if you want to share it on twitter, you must have to share it on Instagram first.

When you open the Layout app, you will see numerous layouts to choose from. You can also select photos from your mobile to include into the collage. You will be able to drag and drop photos, rotate, flip and rearrange them while making collage. The Layout photo collage app wonderfully allow the users to combine multiple photos into a single image. There are no photo filters in the app, so if you want to use photo filters then you have to save photos to Instagram to use Instagram filters.

In Layout, there is also another feature called Photo Booth which let the users to capture their special moments. When you tap the button, it will start a timer and then capture a series of photos that will soon be appear in collage.

The Layout collage app is free of cost and you do not need to have Instagram account to use this. It is easy to use, fast and most interesting. It is available in Apple’s Play Store. It requires iOS 7 or higher. Android users have to wait for a while as the app will be available on Android platform very soon.
