OnePlus has been quite groundbreaking in the tech startup and mobile devices market. After a successful launch of the OnePlus One flagship device and a restricted agreement with Cynogen, the Chinese smartphone maker can launch its next phone, the OnePlus 2, on July 27.
The company within the past had disclosed that its forthcoming device can have a Qualcomm Snapdragon
810 version 2.1 chip set below the hood, carry a USB-C port, and it’ll run OxygenOS, that is OnePlus’ own version of Android.
According to OnePlus, it’s developed a refined cardboard receiver which will be able to stand up to wear, pressure and injury and immune to dirt and oils. One will get its own once it’s on the market by paying just for shipping.
Carl Pei, OnePlus Forum founder in a post said,
“We’re excited for the future. As a tech startup, our goal is to push the envelope, look for new opportunities, and strive to perfect them. Virtual reality holds a monumental amount of potential. With cutting-edge technology, we can explore corners of the world like never before. We already know that VR will change the face of the entertainment industry, but we’re here to try something new.”
He further added:
“A VR launch lets you stand right next to our team and our fans as we unveil our new flagship. You’ll be able to look around as you check out the phone in a new way and maybe even find a few hidden Easter eggs. It’s a new way of thinking about a product launch. We aren’t talking at you; we are talking with you.”
Recently, the OnePlus One was created on the market to the general public at simply $299 for the high-end 64GB version and is currently on the market in more markets than at the time of launch.
The product launch of OnePlus 2 is regular to start out at 7pm platinum (7:30am IST) during a video game event on July 27 and will be live streamed round the world. It will be much interesting to see how this device handles the competition once it’s launched in the market.
